I have eaten at this place for over 50 years. The BBQ is excellant as well as the selection of sauces. The buns are toasted. The catfish, ribs and chicken are equally as good. It is a great place to go for a ride into the country and enjoy a great relaxing meal. The quality is always good. ps. The cold slaw is great also. Either sweet of with vinegar.

The best BBQ in the Memphis area. Get a MIXED PULLED sandwich with Slaw and Sauce with a side of potato salad and you are in heaven. Outstanding.

Absolutely the best BBQ in Memphis area.Meat is always great and sauce(s)even better.A short drive,30 minutes down I-40.A real culinary destination as Gus's Fried Chicken(the original) is across the street and Braden Station(fried catfish)is 3 minutes away.

I have been eating at the establishment for over 50 years and find it to be one of the best. The sandwiches are second to none. You have the choice of two types of slaw and three sauces. Other items on the menu are also great. There homemade pies are to dream about. The service is always friendly and with a smile. I prefered the potatoe salad of years ago better then todays but it's still good. A nice place to go and enjoy the way things used to be.
